M closed the Last Hell Gate at Sacred Mt. Kailash in Tibet and is gone. The Nine Dragons team is heartbroken. The price has been paid but the Hell Gates have awakened powerful local demons in NYC, Paris and ... Tibet.

 

Barely alive, M is found in a snowdrift on a windblown Himalayan trail by two sherpas. She is taken to the Sky Temple and cared for by warrior nuns.

 

M will discover that the Sky Temple exists to protect something supernatural that is the opposite of a Hell Gate. M's power has become terrifying and word of her survival spreads. Some former allies now believe she is a demon herself and should no longer walk the earth.
